Increasing Diversity in the Field of EM: From Pipeline to Faculty Retention

Increasing diversity of our EM physicians is important for improving health care disparities in our growing diverse patient population.  How can we increase diversity in the EM workforce?  1) Build more pipelines for URM youth before medical school,  2) Improve recruitment of URMs into EM residency programs, 3)  Retention of URM faculty via faculty development & promotions.
