Spinal Epidural abscess is a rare disease that is challenging to diagnosis and can result in the overutilization of MRIs in patients with back pain. This lecture will discuss the red flags of back pain and provide a reasonable approach to the evaluation of these patients in order to ensure proper MRI utilization.
